Asian Cultural Community-Engaged Pedagogy for Teaching (ACCEPT) is a collaborative initiative that seeks to enrich the teaching and learning of the Cross-Curriculum Priority: Asia and Australia’s Engagement with Asia. By fostering meaningful partnerships between schools, universities, and local communities—particularly those with deep cultural ties to Asia—the project develops innovative, community-engaged pedagogical practices that bring Asia-related content to life in Australian classrooms. ACCEPT empowers educators to deliver culturally responsive and place-based learning experiences that reflect the depth and diversity of Australia’s engagement with the Asian region.
