On 3 December 2025, our end-of-year mini-symposium celebrated a productive and inspiring year for the ACCEPT team. Initiated and hosted by Dr Hongzhi Zhang at the Monash Club, the event opened with his overview of the team’s achievements. This was followed by Dr Grace Ji’s presentation of the initial success of the Economics and Business curriculum resource co-design, developed in partnership with the Chinese Museum and Casey Grammar School. Key collaborators including Mr. Mark Wang (CEO of the Chinese Museum), Ella Clifton (Senior Commerce Teacher of the Casey Grammar), Dr Philip Chan, Dr Zhang, and Dr Ji, also shared thoughtful reflections on the collaboration.

Ms. Yaqing Hou then presented parallel progress from her art-based resource co-design project with Mount Clear Primary School, highlighting complementary approaches across disciplines. Associate Professor Marc Xu (Monash Art Faculty) also contributed insights into future partnership possibilities and upcoming funding opportunities.
Looking ahead, the Chinese Museum and Monash will jointly lead new grant applications in 2026, while planning continues for the next phase of lesson-plan implementation, school excursions, and potential volunteer programs. The symposium concluded with a tour of the Sir Louis Matheson Library, closing 2025 with strong momentum and a clear direction for the coming year.
